Ahhhh what a great article. I didn’t even realize it but their older albums were always about restraint, fear, hesitation, yearning and now they’re breaking out of that.

ATEEE. They wanted us to experience this album. Imo this entire album was so risky. In an era where music has to be instantly viral, they wanted us to sit and go through the journey from the first track to the last. Having Knife be catchy was the hope but the ultimate goal was the album to be appreciated in its entirety.

I wish non-fans could give Enhypen a chance so they could see romantic vampires is just a small part of it. There’s so much double meaning in parallel to their idol life and references to literature and history too.

So they did addresses those ‘made for streaming only’ allegations, when this was their riskiest project yet. They tried sounds that people would have certainly not expected from them.
“THE SIN : VANISH,” opens on a vampire being caught just as he’s about to bite his lover’s neck. “
One thing not clear to me in the story – was the lover bitten and is a vampire too now? Or they didn’t go through with the conversion? If they didn’t go through then they’re being chased just for the intention? The whole article really dances around the point without giving clear answers 🤓
