ENHYPEN leader Jungwon has pledged a donation of 100 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea, officially joining its high-value individual donor program, the Honor Society, as its 3,886th member.
According to the Community Chest of Korea on the 9th, the donation was made in celebration of Jungwon’s birthday (February 9). Wanting to give back to society as a token of gratitude for the love he has received from fans over the years, Jungwon chose to practice generosity through this contribution.
Rather than making a one-time donation, Jungwon expressed his intention to continue donating consistently every year. The pledged amount will be donated in installments of 20 million KRW annually over five years, and will be used for support programs for underprivileged children and adolescents, as well as broader welfare initiatives.
Jungwon shared, “As a K-pop artist who has received so much love, I’ve always believed that the attention and support I receive should never be taken for granted.” He continued, “Through that realization, I naturally became more aware of the rights and environments that many people should rightfully have.” He added, “I hope that my small act of sharing can become a source of encouragement and courage for children who are unable to enjoy their basic rights due to environmental barriers.”
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN ranked second in the Talents of the Year Under 30 category in What Audiences Loved in 2025, an annual report released by global content analytics firm Parrot Analytics, further proving the group’s worldwide influence.
In addition, ENHYPEN continues to enjoy global popularity, having attracted approximately 676,000 concertgoers across 32 performances in 19 cities worldwide during their world tour WALK THE LINE last year.
