i just saw this on x. to me it sounds like heeseung wanted this.

nothing that i didn’t know before. it seems like the schedule of him being in both (solo career and in the group) is impossible and incompatible because of enhypen’s schedule is really packed. i think they could manage this better? yes. but it is like it is and i’m slowly trying to accept it
**Official statement from BELIFT to Billboard:**

Please explain why the announcement was so messed up with last minute cancelations then. We get it if Heeseung wanted this, just give us proper closure and then we can move one to look forward Hee’s solo and Enhypen as 6.
it’s the same notice again but with other phrasing like we know that but the questions are still there. this should’ve been handled better.
This is just a word salad of yesterday’s statement. Why now and why this abruptly – in the middle of promotions and couple of performances lined up? Ughhh I feel like I’m screaming into the void here.
True that Heeseung might’ve wanted to go solo for a long time but I don’t think he necessarily wanted to leave the group for that. Enhypen is Belift’s money tree of course, so according to the statement, it sounds like Belift doesn’t want to spare any time for members’ personal endeavours or slow down for any thing at all. They just wanna extract every last drop out of their gem group, and I believe cutting ties with Heeseung from Enhypen BUT still keeping him in Belift sounds like double money for them because Engenes are loyal and will support Enhypen and Heeseung as well. This is all my opinion though, but in my eyes there cannot be any company worse than Belift ever.

So they still won’t say ANYTHING? Won’t explain why it was a completely random annoucement in the middle of their schedule? Seriously, he had a ticket for the plane to Australia and suddenly he decided: “Nah, I have to go solo THIS TUESDAY”? Why there weren’t any signals before? Won’t explain why Heesung can’t be like others idols? Because he *isn’t* the only idol ever with the ambitions of doing solo work while being in the group, seriously. And: Why boys are so devastated? Is he going to be a forbidden topic? How the hell they think its going to work out? I can’t believe they won’t answer any of our questions, they just keep avoiding explaining this sick situation. It seems like a big joke or a basically a sabotage at this point. Enhypen will certainly lose more or less fans and Heesung is already hated a lot by c and kneitzens. It could have gone way better, but instead, belift treats both the boys and us like sh1t.
We shouldn’t give up and continue demanding a professional answer.

i’m trying to not be a theorist but who tf approved this idea, even if it came from heeseung himself. so abrupt. so many contract breech. so so so risky of the boys’ careers.
they didn’t even try to test the waters if he could properly carry a solo career with the fallback of going back to his group. even an ordinary person would conclude how risky this was.

honestly, i just wish the best for him and his future solo endeavors, as well as for the rest of enhypen.
i think it’s pretty obvious and guaranteed that we aren’t going to get a definite answer of truth, so we’re just stuck with them reiterating the same thing from before. regardless of the statement, fans will believe and think what they want.
