i’ve been thinking about this a lot recently, and i wanted to open a discussion about everyone’s favorite jungwon stage or on-stage moment since it’s his birthday.

honestly, it feels almost impossible to choose just one. especially after the end of year performances, where jungwon was given more opportunities to shine through solo stages. those moments really highlighted his presence and artistic growth. and his intro in big girls don’t cry is still stuck in my head. it’s one of those parts that stays with you long after the performance ends.

that being said, if i really had to pick one moment that stands out the most to me, it would be his solo stage during the xo (only if you say yes) performance at mama 2024. there was something about it that felt incredibly artistic. the way he moved, the pacing, the atmosphere, and how immersed he seemed in the music made it feel less like a typical idol stage and more like a piece of performance art.

it felt very expressive without being overdone, and very controlled while still emotional. every movement seemed purposeful, and he carried the stage in a way that completely drew you in. it’s one of those performances that makes you stop thinking and just watch.

i’d love to know what other people think. do you have a favorite jungwon stage or moment, or did a different performance stand out to you more recently?
