He wanted to do a live before he left for London but his throat was in a bad condition so he couldn’t. It’s better now he went to the hospital and apparently it’s from his flower pollen allergy. But it’s good enough now that he can turn on the live and he wanted to talk about the many things he did and that’s coming up.
Jay saw that there was a fan who shared that after they added ‘lucky’ in their twitter name they had a lot of luck, and that created a trend among engenes to put it on their name to be lucky as well. He’s happy to see such things and be a positive influence. (The engene story he mentioned was the engene winning a lot of showcase, music show, mini fanmeeting applications and saying they really got lucky.)
His new song with Max is coming out in 2 days. They have been friends with Max for a long time, and he sent him Love Insane saying he thinks the song would fit him and if he wanted to feature, he liked the idea and checked with the company and it worked out pretty easily and he was surprised cause it’s a rare case in k-pop to be able to just release something with a friend. He thinks Max is a really good artist, songwriter and a good human being, he hopes to learn from him too as a songwriter, he hopes fans will like the song. It’s a new challenge for him because he might be more known to do rock or emotional songs so this groovy song is a new experience/step for his career.
Next Jay moved on to talk about who he met at Wimbledon. He met George Russell (F1 driver) in the Ralph Lauren suite, he was super tall, handsome and super cool vibe. He approached him introduced himself and told him he’s a really big fan and congratulated him for the Montreal GP. Jay said “I did it guys I did it, I was really nervous but I did it!”
He also saw Harry Cavill, he’s one of the heroes for his generation. While he was just chatting with staff and whenever he passed by he looked so cool like he was filming a movie. He talked to him too told him he’s a fan and honoured to meet. He took a photo with him too but he didn’t get permission to post so he won’t post himself but something might be posted officially. He thought he was a good person from what he saw of him online but he was 10 times more kind in person. He also met Kurumi Nakata and Tadanobu Asano as well who are actors he knew they sat at the same table and talked about various topics.
Jay also talked about filming challenges with Netlix for K-pop Demon Hunters. Someone he knows is on the production team, and when he sent them a message that the music is good they suggested the collaboration. His favourite from the soundtrack album is Golden.
He found it a really great opportunity to be in London and meet some fans before the concerts. They are working really hard for the Europe tour and hope to make it an unforgettable memory or the fans and themselves as well. He thanked everyone for supporting them all this time and they are sorry that it took so much time for their first Europe tour, I wanted to do it sooner and there are still a lot of countries and cities they haven’t performed and he really wanted to go everywhere to see engenes and have fun. This is going to be the start and they want to go to all the countries around the world, said if they haven’t been to your country just wait and they will try to go there.
Chat asked him about tennis, he’s been watching tennis games for a long time but now he also tried playing as well recently. His favourite player is Rafael Nadal. He thinks tennis is really cool and learned a lot about career attitude from players. He feels very happy and honoured to be able to experience this Wimbledon final.
